Tibetan Singing Bowls
Singing bowls
are a long-standing Tibetan tradition that stem
back from when Padmasambhava - a great tantric master,
brought them from India to Tibet in the 8th Century
AD. However, the use of singing bowls throughout
history dates back as far as 560 BC at the time
of Buddha.
Seen as a tool
to aid the path to enlightenment, singing bowls
resonate a smooth meditative sound.
This enables the user to enter into a deep state
of meditation and relaxation enabling the mind to
be cleared and purified.
The sound from
singing bowls also contain healing properties
which when struck can aid in all types of healing
practices including reiki and chakra healing. This
used in conjunction with our healing incenses can
provide for an all over healing experience which
will help to balance and ground the individual and
dispel negative energy and blockages.
Singing bowls
are traditionally made from seven different
metals in order to create the unique sound.
These are said to represent the following: Gold
(Sun) Silver (Moon) Mercury (Mercury) Copper (Venus)
Iron (Mars) Tin (Jupiter) and Lead (Saturn).
We have two
designs for you to choose from, both of which are
hand made to the highest quality of workmanship.
